For 25 years, I have gone to work every day with severe anxiety. Fear of failing or making mistakes and in the worst case losing my job. I have developed a perfectionism. Although I'm aware that it's totally irrational and I see other people making mistakes without a problem, I can't turn it off

Ever since your older videos I've been a fan. Your videos are like a sort of drug. From not even having faith to last another 10 minutes to having confidence in the next years. Please never stop making these videos. You're the real deal!

Overstimulation train me engage haphazardly with my thoughts I get caught up in the vortex/tornado. But you have the ability guide me to the eye of the storm - and I can calm down. I can somewhat control the storm away from destroying my quaint little town if I don't "try so hard."

Hi Noah, this is interesting but I feel you are not addressing the real life consequences of what loosing a job does. When you work the MAIN pressure is money, putting food on the table or not. It has nothing to do with what happens when you are at school... So you can address some of the programming that happens because of school but that won’t solve the problem.

I hear you Thomas. And I totally agree with you that for many people, the pressure comes from trying to have money to survive and put food on the table. But, since this isn't my experience, it is not the type of anxiety I'm most adept at helping people with. I try to help people with what I've been through directly. Some will relate and get benefit. Others will not. I'm sorry if you can't relate to what I'm sharing.

@@NoahElkrief Hi Noah, I understand that. It's just that it would be nice to have a talk about the problem in it's entirety. I feel most people can't relate to what you are referring to because even if you have enough savings already, there are a thousand more reasons why it would be a problem for you to lose a job. Regards

De Mello - "Compare the serene and simple splendor of a rose in bloom with the tensions and restlessness of your life. The rose has a gift that you lack: it is perfectly content to be itself. It has not been programmed from birth, as you have been, to be dissatisfied with itself. That is why it possesses the artless grace and absence of inner conflict that among humans is only found in little children and mystics. Consider your sad condition. You are always dissatisfied with yourself, always wanting to change yourself. So you are full of violence and self intolerance which only grows with every effort that you make to change yourself. Think of the sad history of your efforts at self-improvement, that either ended in disaster, or succeeded, only at the cost of struggle and pain - "The Kingdom of Heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force" - Matthew 11:12
