What do you mean by analytical? Are you saying they are neutral to bright? Thanks.

I ended up getting these. I would not call them analytical. I define analytical as revealing in the upper frequencies. These are pretty revealing but not compared to other $2000 plus cans. They are very pleasant to listen to and have great bass impact and good detail throughout. The only weakness I hear is the sub bass is a little congested. To my ears they are neutral with a lift in the sub bass and a little relaxed in the treble.

Wonder how these would compare to a totl $2500 closed back with a Bluetooth adaptor such as a ifi go blu , questyle 15, or btr7 velcroed to the them. Just because….

That's a great question! We will keep that in mind for a future video. It mostly depends on your preference and form factor, as this headphone is already a TOTL closed back with a Bluetooth receiver built in, but something like the Meze Liric with the iFi GoBlu is also a great choice. With a separate Bluetooth adapter you could use it with multiple headphones, but it will also be less convenient.

which totl closed back could you realistically run with BTR15 or something? Sony MDR-Z1R, AKG K872 and Denon AH--D9200, nothing else comes to mind, I love all of them but they are not rly strong value contenders anyway

Is it possible to replace the pads? I own the ATH-WB2022, love them, but I'd like to replace the ear pads. Thank you in advance

I believe audio-technica offer one free replacement of the pads, headband and batteries when required. I'd contact them to find out.

But there *are* Wi-Fi headphones, the Audeze Maxwell being a prime example...

Maxwells are decent, but Edifier S3 blows them out of the water, Edifier used to be one of the shareholders of Audeze before Sony bought it, S3 uses Snapdragon sound meaning it can do 1411kbps .flacs losslessly with right phone, android with Snapdragon processor since 888 and newer, some midrange snapdragons also support it like 778 but if you are spending $400 on wireless headphone chances are you got flagship phone too

Hello, I have a question! Which headphones have the better sound, the Sony Wh-1000xm5 or the WF-1000xm5
@bobhanuman65

Depends on what kind of music you listen to and what you consider good sound. Many people like really boomy bass and if HPs don't have it they don't consider it "good sound"

@@bobhanuman65 I listen to different types of music. I would just like to know if they sound equally good or if one of them sounds better
