Actuallly it has NEVER been called the Falmer stadium it is not in Falmer which has seperated itself from Brighton and a large number of us would die on that hill iif that was ever suggested.

It looks like you're right Sir (although it looks like it's very much on the boundary of Brighton). Thank you for that greater insight, it's good to learn more about the stadium from the viewers themselves.

A couple of errors there. The Goldstone ground was not built for or by BHA. The South Downs national park did not exist before the Falmer stadium.

Also it is not located in the Sputh Downs National Park it is located in what was a brown field site. It was being used for farming but had been earmarked for development. American Express had previously applied to build their new European headquarters there. At some point a building would be approved there. It is slap next to the A27 and a railway which also are not in the national park. Lies used to delay approval.

@@acivilconversation18 Welcome, when asking the opposers where else we could build it. They actually suggested land in the south downs national park (toads hall valley). That was when they were exposed foe what they were.

Sovereign saints? Bloody hell I haven’t heard that name in a while. I think I played against them about 15 years ago. Probably lost, like we did every week.
