So, with the filter, you can send just an audio feed or just that source. So, if you wanted to, you could use OBS to send all your audio sources as a NDI source over your network and build a full dual PC audio setup that way. It's kinda wonky doing it that way, but its the kind of thing I like tinkering with, for science!

Like your video. I wanted to do this 2 years ago, seemed too complicated. Got a capture card, the pass through refresh rate was 60hz. Decided it was worth my while just to sacrafice 10-15fps and stream directly from my gaming PC. I picked most of those FPS back from tweaking the system before streaming with disabling normally running software and windows processes. Anyways, decided to look into a second stream PC....still the pass through refresh rate was only 144hz. Now that still isn't good enough, I paid for my monitor and I want every stable FPS I can get. The setup appears easier now and I want more FPS at my game PC. So I got 30+ years of high level IT experience, so I can do just about anything. What I am not fiding is information on performance and benchmarks between using a single PC, using a capture card, and using NDI. @@DRSKINGDAVID I just re-downloaded NDI 4 Tools and installed the package and I have Scan Converter. It doesn't show up in the checklist to install things. Not sure what is going on on your end.

what minimum spec would you recommend for the stream pc? would an old dell with an i7 cpu from ebay work? maybe one with a gtx 1050ti also.

As long as it isn't a low end i7, yes. I would consider a GTX 1650 Super for Turing NVENC improvemebts.

The HX version gives people issues, including me occasionally. Have you tried the standard app? I hardly ever have issues with it.
