I missed seeing old-type makeup videos here on KZitem. I grew up with the classic "makeup tutorial" and even though trends have changed a lot since then, I still find this type of video much better than whatever people are posting nowadays. I'm not a total Grinch hahaha I still enjoy today's shop my stash videos or declutters and makeup organization videos.

You should look at k beauty for milky toners. Less expensive and a category they really specialize in- like sunscreens!

Also Thayers has come out with a milky toner at the drugstore. It’s very moisturizing and soothing not to mention the giant bottle is lasting me an entire year.

I definitely find as I get older less is more. I don't even use foundation most days just a concealer and color corrector. The physician formula concealer I've been loving doesn't need to be set so with my dry skin it has been fabulous. Cream products are a great thing for more mature skin I'm finding lately.

I too always felt like lighter layers work better. Not only is it less cakey, but I just don't like the dramatic look on myself. The light hand makes it so much harder to pan products though!

I've heard that the Physicians Formula brow gel is one of those ones that really holds your brows down, if you're looking for a drugstore option! I think it's supposed to basically be a dupe for the Patrick Ta one? I hope this helps. 😊🌻

Great tips! I definitely used to overdo it with the amount of foundation i would use and didn't like how my makeup would look. I was trying to use enough to cover my sunscreen so I wasn't disturbing the spf i was getting underneath if that makes sense haha

I have a tendency of applying my blush waaaay too high so I always apply my bronzer and blush first, then I go in with concealer to clean up the area. It also helps tone down the blush if I went too heavy handed

Yes to everything! Great video. Embracing the natural eye shape was one of the best changes that I've made. Mine are almond and I was always trying to get the popular cat eye winged look. I realized now that was dragging me down actually. Also I have very dark circles and hollows as well as fine lines and crepiness so figuring out the under eye has taken years of trial and error. I know this is unconventional but it works for me. First I don't use moisturizer or any other cream under the eye except a matte concealer 2 shades lighter than my skin tone only in the darkest areas. Then instead of a color corrector, I use a pigmented pink blush after the concealer dries completely. I skip powder. Then I use a setting spray making sure to get a lot if it under the eye. And that's it. Very quick and easy, and I have no creasing or settling. Looks so natural.

The Nyx concealer i wish the pump gave you less, i use like half of what comes out each time bc less is so much more. Any under eye concealer its like too much is going right into my lines and looking dry and cakey.

I mean just use half a pump? Thats what i do with that concealer. 1/2 or 1/4 of a pump.

Try pressing the pump as gently as possible (twice) and it comes out with the perfect amount ✨

Yes! I use Got2Be glued on a spoolie. They sell a mascara tube of it now but buying a big tube of the hair gel is much more economical.

I'm late, but l use the got2b hairgel on my brows. Just squeeze from the big tube into one of my old smaller brow gel tubes. Will go crunchy if you apply too much though. Agree about less skincare before the better, also leaving it sit as long as l can works better for me. Love your hair ❤️
