The juxtaposition of Yzma’s classical Disney villain appearance and her comedic active eccentricity make her a joy to behold

I totally agree and I was so happy to find this video! I just finished watching the cartoon on Disney+ and have been thinking about Yzma as a whole and how underrated she is. Out of all the villains she has the most depth and backstory (although I guess that's due to her having more material to appear in) and I just think every little detail about her is so interesting and unique. Imo she is the perfect example of a non-sympathetic yet still awesome villain, and I despite how the franchise would like to treat her I think she is a feminist icon as far as villains go. I hope that possibly Disney could make alive-action film, like Cruella, about Yzma and her backstory, since she is such a rich and iconic character. It's cool to see another TENG and Yzma fan and I'm sad your video is so unseen. You did a great job!

Thank you so much for the sweet comment 🥰. Yzma is a beautifully constucted character that I've always admired and I'm happy to see someone else who appreciates her. Yeah, it sucks when I don't get as much views but I love making them and that's all that counts. I have a few more disney videos planned ,when I have the time, and I'm excited to make them. I'm happy that you liked it and I'm glad that I get to talk about such an icon! Both Yzma and Eartha!

I'm glad they changed her motive from revenge for vanity to power and revenge, but Snuff Out The Lights is such a great listen

What I love about Yzma and Cruella is that you can tell both are old. Yet they are fully confident in themselves (from what they wear and not giving a damn about what others especially males view them as. How with Roger making a diss track about her and Kuzco and Kronk being disgusted by just looking at her). It is even more shown in the 1998 remake of 101 Dalmations that Cruella loves Anita like a sister and is annoyed when she chooses to marry over having a strong career like her. As for the villain's motives when they are women (honestly, that is a societal issue how women need to put against each other or are just envious people in general. You can blame the big studios especially MGM for always kicking out women over the age of just barely 30 for a "fresh face")

Not Roger making a diss track on Cruella to clown her 😂. She better hop in the booth and respond lol. But you're right most of the blame is own Hollywood studios. I love both Yzma and Cruella for more of less the same reasons

I wish we get trully faithful live-action adaptation with someone of tallent, body and mind suit to represent Yzma's looks, attitude, brilliancy and wonderful, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant insanity that our beloved Eartha Kitt gave to the animated version. Most likely a latino actress would be the best suit, since the action takes place at Peru ❤ Or a mixed race, since she's the only character with such pale skin (presumably from living in dark-ass cave most of the time and the hate for the Sun which she was supposed to have in the "Kingdom Of The Sun"). And damn, how I wish the never touched subject of her being in league (and possible romance, judging from the lyrics of her unused song) with Supai finally got the credit it deserves onscreen ❤ But well, we'll never get the best of both worlds it seems 😂
