In many states it is custodial interference for either the custodial parent or the non custodial parent to not comply with the copurt order or parenting time guidelines. Guy didn't have to bring out his gun. He wasn't in immediate danger. He escalated the situation. All he had to do was call the cops.

Well of course the mom & boyfriend didn't want to call the cops because they would have just helped the dad get his son. The evil selfish deadbeat mom made this happen, regardless of what the law says and got her stupid boyfriend to ruin his own life over it. Even if he's not charged and faces no other consequences, he killed a man who had a legal right to see his son and was just trying to do that.

@spitchill Your comment is irrelevant 😂 The Police would’ve helped the Dad because by Law he was there to pick up his kid . Police ENFORCE LAW 😂

Worst case scenario: Killer now raises the kids by himself as a single father. No jail time and had a big party to celebrate winning.

It was a scheduled pick up, therefore he was supposed to be there to get his son. Stand your ground should NOT apply in this case.

Good thought, I hope the authority's take that into account. The cowardly boyfriend started it by retrieving the weapon.
