I got Covid AGAIN Thanksgiving and there is just hair all over my house. This Christmas when I tried to make my hair look "nice" I really couldn't. I'm just curious do you have a burning scalp , such as the burning you get if you're getting your hair bleached or dyed ?

I have just had to shave my head due to cancer and chemotherapy. I was so overwhelmed with what I needed the best type and most comfortable to be able to wear all day, I was advised against real hair for the rainy days (UK resident) lots of rain where I live so was told the wig would totally frizz and be hard to keep it nice throughout the day. @@JesseMSimons I do have one, when you mentioned needing dry shampoo spray for the synthetic wigs to remove the fake looking hair shine you get, do you spray quickly all over and brush through before or after the oil spray to keep it from getting too static and knotty? And would I need to wash it more often if I use dry shampoo on it....I bought some dry shampoo but not sure how to apply it or when to xx
@JesseMSimons
5 ай бұрын
When you get a wig in and it looks too shiny, you can use the dry shampoo right on the wig when you pull it out. I spray it really lightly then brush it out. You shouldn’t need to use it again. The shine should go away as you wear the wig as well and you can use any type of product you’re wanting to use after the fact. Using any products on your wigs will make you need to wash them sooner but it shouldn’t be that much faster. I always say you should wash between every 15 and 25 wears and that’s factoring in product use versus non-product use. Hope that makes sense. 😊

@@JesseMSimons that's brilliant thank you. It's starting to get frizzy ish too, is this indication it needs a wash or am I just not using enough oil spray on it at night time?....I'm just so scared of having it too oily and walking around looking a mess, I just haven't the confidence to walk around bald or with just a hat or scarf on yet. I know I can't help my situation but also don't enjoy using the c.card either I don't want sympathy or to be pitied....I hope this makes sense. Sorry I keep asking questions xx

I guess I have also had alot of practice looking at them and eyeballing it. There are also tons of amazing groups out there online where they can help you out with things like that since someone usually already has that wig. 😊
