The Beara Peninsula/Ring of Beara is unmissable, it's always been the highlight for the folks doing my guided and self guided tours of Ireland. You should definitely do it and well worth spending a full day to explore it properly..

Just watched this lovely film again...when you ride a bike you retain a mental 'map' of roads you ride, you remember every bump and twist and turn. I'm sitting here in West Sussex watching your great video of the roads I ride every summer and I'm with you all the way!,...I even recognise the 2 grey horses!. Great film as usual Dennis! Steve

Cheers Steve, great to hear you're enjoying them. I watch them myself over the winter when the cabin fever starts to kick in, they help to keep me sane and focus on the next summer's rides :)

Ring of Beara still isnt as known as it should be. Beautiful scenarios and not too many cars/people around Nice vid

Firstly I thought video will be boring, than I start to understand video purpose. Land you ride through is truly amazing. Not bored at all! Great video. Thanks for keeping me focused.

i love these shades of gray of the mountains and rocks with green and brown moss on them and to now that these by time worn down mountains can be between 600 to 800 million years old almost makes me shiver, i really would love ride my bike on these extremely beautiful roads the landscape are really breathtaking.

I won't be able to do the WAW in one hit, so I will do the Southern half first when I get the time off. This area looks stunning and traffic free. Cheers Denis. :)

Great movie clip, I have often thought of an Ireland trip - you have made up my mind for me! And the stills at the end of your clips are truly stunning. Is this a separate camera or a still from your movie camera? What cameras do you use and what editing software? Will be watching more of your clips for sure. Many thanks for posting.

+Dude On A RT Thanks, and you should definetly come and ride in Ireland, the roads on the west coast are world class. I use the Drift HD Ghost action cam for the video and a Cannon D700 mostly for the stills.. Plenty more photos on the Roadtrooper facebook page - albums. For editing the video I use Sony Vegas Pro 13
