*This is a supplementary video for those who have been watching it for a long time. A tragic reservoir where ducks lay their eggs and cannot get out every year. I thought I could have prevented the ducks from hatching this year by mowing the grass, but this is the third pair of ducks to have died this year (before hatching). It's complicated in many ways, and it's sad, but I think there are many things that can't even be born, just because we haven't noticed them until now.
This is a video record of wild bird photography and observation taken with a super telephoto compact digital camera Nikon P950. This video also serves as a bird photography report, but the purpose is to "write notes for yourself." This is a memo for when editing the main video later, so it may be hard to read, but I hope it will be helpful for those who want to know the situation in real time... Thank you for your understanding.

Yesterday, it was confirmed that two of the nests in the pond were wiped out...I was happy to see that the grass had been mowed in the pond where chicks had been born in the past but couldn't get out and died, so I went to check it out... (I also tried asking for help, but I didn't get a good response, so I gave up this year.) It seems that there were four broken eggs that were attacked by starlings... There are various reasons from the past, but I will omit them (see 0530C, 0524D) ) I'll include a little bit of what happened last year at the end (I'll omit the explanation so it's for those who understand)

1:04 The long-awaited grass cutting will prevent this year's egg incubation, but...
*It seems there were already eggs. I didn't ask her what she did with the eggs...I just thanked her for cutting them. We could also see the entire terrain.
01:20 Predation of starlings: locusts and spiders
*The large grasshoppers with wings at this time of year are probably overwintering locusts. * Regarding the egg, I haven't seen it so I can't confirm it, but if it's true, the mother duck should have returned. I don't want to keep taking pictures while I'm working, so I decided to take a look at the pond from yesterday.
03:33 Kingfisher♂ (the one whose mating was photographed yesterday)
06:37 Kingfisher courtship feeding and mating (couldn't photograph well)
07:57 Kingfisher♀ Right in front of you
*I tried to take pictures of it as it was courting and feeding several times, but it didn't work out.
11:06 Kingfisher courtship feeding (after handing over) without mating
*After a while, it leaves the pond. I wonder where the nest is (in the city)...
15:15 Duck couple flying in. Couple I always see
*Suspected egg 5 mother
15:35 Male kingfisher ate it himself because the female didn't come.
16:36 Ducks often engage in aerial battles
17:52 Turtle dove threatening cry (sound like a fart)
18:00 Long cry of white-eye
*Also sounds like a titmouse or a shrike.
23:01 Starlings are visiting the empty reservoir after mowing the grass.
23:46 Predation of starlings, caterpillars
25:24 …Female spot-billed ducks fly in…incubator mother
*One female landed here...and then wandered around unnaturally for a while. This is the reaction when someone came to mow the grass, evacuated, and when they returned, the nest was gone... It's sad, but I also think it's a precious thing, so I watch it for a while. Also, I observed the feathers to compare with the Fd mother that was wiped out here last year (they look similar and I personally think they are the same. I will compare later)
30:37 Leave the pond and wander around nearby
33:31 Return to the pond again
34:01 Movement similar to Fd mother (but no cry)
*Does behavior change before and after hatching?
34:52 Walking around outside the pond again.
36:04 Sparrows, starlings, and turtledoves bathing in a puddle
37:47 The starling panics when the crow flies in, but the turtledove doesn't move.
39:28 The mother duck was sitting in the hollow.
41:23 Back to the pond...I'm sure it's the incubating mother...
43:38 Outside the pond again
49:29 Don't leave near the pond. The record ends here...
*Fd was born in 0518D, so please cut the grass by April 20th at the latest.
53:20 Parents and children do not see the river either.
54:24 Cormorant makes several teasing gestures
55:28 I was able to photograph a courtship feeding of a kingfisher!
*The male takes a bath after being handed over.
58:14 Onaga
59:11 Great tit nest, cry
*Yesterday was the first day of discovery.
1:01:57 For comparison, here is a little picture of last year's Fd mother and reservoir.
