Cracking video Damian stunning views I will be heading down there for a wildcamp soon one question mate what is the best speed for a time laps ok two questions when ya coming to visit the crew a camp BOB be good to meet up again atb jimmy 😎 😎
@Fell_Wanderer
6 жыл бұрын
The best speed for a timelapse is 1 second interval because it can always be speeded up in post. I've done 10 sec timelapse and realised this was too fast and when slowed down looks bad. If you want to get things right first time then 1sec interval is good for slow clouds and setting up camp benny hill style lol, 2 sec = fast clouds, 5/10 secs sunset and sunrise. I will be at camp bob from next weekend the 13th at the earliest if John and Gary invites me

Another good one, well done. What timing do you have your time lapse on? I have tried mine on a few different settings but they don`t seem to run as smooth.
@Fell_Wanderer
6 жыл бұрын
for fast moving clouds 1 sec interval, this can always be speeded up later in Premiere Pro if too slow. Sunset/sunrise 10 sec. For starlapse if there is some light present like the moon I use 20sec exposure, iso 200, interval continous. For really dark skies 30sec exposure, iso 200, interval continous. For evening and early morning the auto function allows up to a 2 sec exposure which is good so gives good light until it gets too dark an hour maybe after sunset then you have to change over to nightlapse mode. Lower iso the better as it means less noise, not sure why yours isn't smooth, try continous as an interval and check that your sdcard is fast enough to capture the footage, needs to be a class 10
