i enjoyed watching your films. I'm doing it on 14th July (6 days, b&b's) plus my 12 year old cocker spaniel so i was glad to hear your comments about water. But I have to cater for 2!

Hi sorry for the late comment , but it felt more appropriate here than your AT videos. Imn your AT one you mentioned phone batteries. Have you considered or tried small solar chargers to power up powerbanks? Gearing up for wild camping some long distance trails and wild camping. Thinking of doing something longer at some point, hence the question for when facing multi days without power...

I had no issue with a 10,000 power pack giving 5 days of cover. You learn on the AT to charge your electronics as soon as you hit a town (even if for an hour). My phrase battery means power bank. I’d never use solar panels. Never enough direct sunlight

Can you say the name of the map you used again?

It would probably be FarOut. They cover most of the UK walks

The make is CICERONE. There's a handy pocket one that replicates the OS map. just a lot easier having that to hand rather than 4 different big OS maps, or relying on your phone.

I do use Cicerone for most UK walks, but I was testing FarOut for the AT
