You honestly showcased the weapons in a way that makes this game look fun. Thanks for that. I watched that Rage gaming dude’s video and he made the charge blade like weapon look so bland and repetitive but you made every weapon look like a thrill to try.

@mattthebeast3908

@@DallasBrownridge My best guess is that RageGaming is too used to Monster Hunter greatsword & thought that using the other attacks while charging would end the charge rather than using light attacks from the charge stance to build up much faster (I'm not sure that it's even specifically covered in the weapon tutorial, Rurikhan did a livestream going over each weapon & did the tutorial for the one's he never really used before which included Nodachi so I'll go and check that). Okay, just checked and though the tutorial DOES go over using both light & heavy attacks from the stance, if you play like monster hunter & let go of the charge button after you start attacking you wouldn't notice that you can build charge that way since the game doesn't tell you that's how this weapon works. Given what RageGaming said in that video I expect the eventual playthrough to be a whole lot of not knowing that and once the videos have caught up to live an "OH MY GOSH I WAS DOING THIS WRONG THE ENTIRE TIME" moment.

I tried watching starter guides from other folks but yours were definitely the most helpful. Thanks! Hope to run into you on a hunt one day

No insect glaive (or a similar version of it)? The umbrella looks kinda cool but other than that there's just waaaaay too much eye candy happening on the screen for me. I can barely identify what I'm seeing half the time. Also looks like a simplified version of building stuff like in Fort Night which almost completely turned me off of the game.
