Yea, and we're missin 'em still! Life isn't the same without being able to see Jerry & Dave & others together. For me, its like to a kid Disneyland and Yosemite all burned down in one day. Well, Phil & Bobby are still here and thankfully still playin gigs.

I'm grateful to my friends for bringing me to a Dead show, & there I found Jerry :) I fell in love ~ with bluegrass, & Jerry, & I can't think of one thing Jerry's been involved with that I don't appreciate. I'm glad you love this incarnation of such talented spirits.

All of the artists who played with Jerry Garcia were outstanding musicians... David, Vassar, Phil Bill, Bobby, Mickey, Pigpen Brent, Kahn, Merl,,,,and on and on... but in my opinion they all did their best work when they were with Jerry. He lifted them to the heights...

A true treasure with a very thoughtful mix and blend of pics. I was on vacation over on Kauai browsing a "bamboo" shop. In the background was this excellent old tyme music that I wasn't putting my finger on so I had to ask, yep ... OAITW, not this album I'd have ID'd it in a nano, one I hadn't heard. DAMN these guys made great music together ... pickin' heaven!
