Dear Mike, You are, for me, a recent find amongst all the mandolin 'gurus' competing for attention on KZitem. You are a 24 carat discovery, so a huge thanks for your generosity in freely giving so much of your expertise and knowledge in easily understood and straight forward lessons. I am 81 and only started my mandolin journey two years ago. It's never too late to learn and you have been a huge help in so many ways. I can now join many of the numbers at my local pubs folk sessions and these eight music making strings have filled a gap in my life that I didn't really know was there. Take care and kind wishes from Wiltshire.

Great Mike, picked up the Mandolin after 10 years guitar playing. Your expertise has helped me appreciate how versatile the mandolin can be and how it adds a new dimension to the music. Peter

Yeah me too, it still feels odd in 4/4 to my ears but the majority of the versions you find are in 4 so I went with that for the lesson. Still a great tune in 3/4

It's a Kristufek, made by Edward Kristufek in Czechia ... sometimes known as Krishot in the US
