Ironic your pal Nathan was injured as well. first thing to do is have it professionally examined/x-ray/CT scan or whatever it takes to diagnose the problem. Otherwise, you could do permanent damage walking around on it.

Huge fan, been watching for years and finally started to learn to surf at URBN SURF in Melbourne Australia. I have found my biggest hurdle is paddling and being comfortable in deep water where I can't touch the bottom.. How can I over come this fear? As a kid it never phased me now at 44 I'm struggling 😫
@wcc1212

I found open water swimming helped me with that. I swim with a local group. If you are a strong swimmer, and in top shape, you should be more comfortable in deep water. My 2cents.

Did the same thing backside barrel at Cloudbreak. Pain in the center of the foot. Mine was called a Lis franc fracture. They didn’t really find it until they took an x-ray with me standing and putting pressure on it then it opens up the fracture . Mine was a gnarly deal 3 screws non-weight-bearing for three months then they remove the screws and non-weight-bearing for another three months and then started rehab at month 9. Hopefully yours isn’t as gnarly but I did mine 15 years ago and I’m solid now. Depending on the severity, some require surgery some don’t

You need to man up Koa and get out there in boardies ya marshmallow! Sponsors don't dig busted metas. But on a more serious note it's inevitable of course these hell men - and there are so many of them now - are going to hurt themselves bad. Not if but only when. And they're surfing really sharky waters so let's cross our fingers on that one. The thing is, most injuries heal but they don't really go away. When you get into your 50s and 60s many of them come back to haunt you. Burger looks good Koa! Melbourne Airport.

Koa here’s a business tip, your a nice enough bloke and you surf well no problem but don’t start your clips with a promo to some drink co or any other promotional rubbish it makes you look desperate Nate does a good job because he never does that until half or three quarters in and it’s done subtly That product is dismissed by your viewers who are waiting for your content as nothing more than an inconvenience when it’s at the start
