I agree that this was one of the most recognized themes in its day. I think that Lalo Schifrin composed the “hottest,” action packed themes of the day. Mannix and Mission Impossible (et al) topped the list. Schifrin used jazz genre with complex time signatures and big bands to create his masterpieces. All just as moving, fresh and clean now as they were then. You have a great set of ears.

Thank you for the full version of this T.V. show. I was looking all over for the full version of it. To reply to the below comments of the show, "IT was TOO Violent", as Christians across America stated back in the 1960s. Later, they boycott the products that advertise the show, it was the same as Star Trek, Kung Fu, and Batman. With so many fight screens they were opposed to the violence. It wasn't the fact it was a great show, it was too violent I remember the TV Guild stated. The show had high ratings. The Christians would write to the show in masses and when that didn't work, they started to boycott the products. I remember the rallies of protests on many TV shows. Some of the Best TV Shows were canceled with HIGH RATINGS. Gees. Today, hehe, if you thought it was violent then, some movies like John Wick IV. Wow, a big difference compared to the 1960s to today's violence. I loved the show and watched the repeats in syndications years later after it was canceled. With ex-Gov. Arnold, Sly, Keanu, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, and the Lord of the Rings with 836 killed in their movies, etc. These guys Killed as many as in the Vietnam War together. Pls, forgive me for the humor Vietnam Vets. No poking fun at the seriousness of that war. I supported you from the day you came back. My Uncle served in Artillery. Those actors alone, killed thousands of folks in the movies, heh.

It was a different time. The Untouchables was considered too violent, any western back in the day, hell even cartoons. There will always be a group trying to censor what you can watch or say. Unfortunately this is more true than ever, what it comes down to is parenting. If you don’t want your children to watch a particular show, play specific games, or be on social media….good for you. It’s their right to raise their children as they see fit. Classic television is a reflection of their times, a history lesson if you will into the world at that moment.

@@tikidino Very true in everything you stated. You made my day! Thank you for responding back. Some of the Very Best Shows were not coming back for additional seasons and that broke my heart as a child. An innocent time back then. So very different than today. That's why they were called "Classic Shows". heh. When "Kung Fu" was canceled, I was really sad. Hey, we have "Jackie Chan" now. I remember the very minute when "Bruce Lee" died. I was downtown from junior high waiting for a bus transfer. The whole downtown of San Diego was gossiping that "Bruce Lee" just died. I was on Broadway Downtown and I will never forget that moment when people were spreading of his death. Other theme songs that I loved were, "Land of the Giants, Lost in Space, Star Trek, Wild Wild West, Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea, Combat, Untouchables, The High Chaparral, Mod Squad, Perry Mason, and I can go on and on. I am making a Televisio Theme Song CD for my old MR2 Toyota Spyder. It does not have Chip Tech. I using CDs still. Once that system dies, I will buy a better date system. Making CD's a hassle but, it is a 2003 excellent Shape Car. That's how I found that sight you responded back on. Have an awesome Week, and many thanks for responding back.

"The Andy Griffith Show" was an awesome Theme and today as I am cooking my wife (The Queen-King of my home) her supper, I will whistle the theme song to the Andy Griffith Show. She is Queen and King for I had a work injury and had 9 spinal fusions and couldn't work. My wife of many years will retire next year and she kept this family together. I gave my position as King to her, since she pays the bills and my SSD doesn't come at all to what she makes. So, let's look at the monarch of England. Queen Beats Kings, or should be. hehe At least in this house. Truly, have an awesome week.
