Really nice to see you out Joe for you always sound so calm and joyful in the freedom of the forest. Six pies, that's terrible, phew, but there are no rules in wild camping after all. Ha ha ha. All the best. Harry. PS always nice to see the camo in use.

It's always nice to make time for a wildcamp but getting increasingly difficult with busy schedules. So it's a great battery reset.. Atb

Thank you Brother Joe for putting the prussic loop through the loop on the tarp, I was beginning to think I was the only one doing that! Loved the 'magic kettle shot'. Nice little camp spot that, I should really come up there sometime and do a camp with you.

I cheated I used my Samsung note 20 ultra mobile phone for that shot couldn't be arsed to set my M50 up lol. I've always done my ridgeline this way whether it's a basha or my big 3mtr tarp . Atb.

Hello Craig.Thank you for popping by and watching my video. It's not my first time with KZitem I did have a channel a few years ago called hoopedbivi wildcamper but had to end that for personal reasons so I've just follows on from that but at a more slower and relaxed pace. I've a lot of gear still , that I did keep until the time was right to start up again. Thank you for the sub. At joe

I’ve got a 2 quart U.S. water bottle, mine is plain OD green though. Really handle size, usually take it with my 3 litre British Army bladder.
@notyouraveragejoe322

Took an age to get both in the uk , I got the bladder on ebay and the cover on Internet from a UK seller, I've not seen them since. Exellent kit. Goes on every camp.

Great video. I’ve really got to learn some knots your ridge line and prussocks put me to shame. I just use bungees and sticks, but the weight of four or five bungees soon adds up.
@notyouraveragejoe322
3 жыл бұрын
I still use bungees for my little flectarn tarp but you are right in that the weight of carrying them , this way that I did is a good quick way , my ridgeline is 3times the length of my tarp to give you a rough idea and my guy lines are 1 length. All but one of my tarps/basha use the same system. Atb

You had 5k Subscribers as the Hooped Bivi Wanderer or similar and just left us all hanging. Then you came back as JR Photography and Wild Camping or similar and now, I find you here as the 'Not the average Joe'. What's the story behind all the name changes?
@notyouraveragejoe322
Жыл бұрын
I closed down hoopedbivi wildcamper for a personal reason. I started jm photography and wildcamps to put the two things I love doing together then that became a bit of a ball ache so I changed my jm photography and wildcamps to wessex Photography and started another channel for wildcamping , not your average Joe. I don't do alot of wildcamps now but what I do I record for said channel. Photography got me out of a really big hole and i started to enjoy life again , my circumstances changed enough for me to start afresh with photography being my number one enjoyment. Wildcamps are as and when I can be arsed..

They are good little packs and surprising how much gear you can get in them. I can get a winter system in there with the bivi on the outside. They are cheap as well you can get them on ebay for between 10-25 £ . Just search for a northern Ireland patrol pack.
