This video was made in a bit of a rush to get out before Play-Ins of Worlds 2020 started so there's a few things I left out. I hope you guys still enjoyed the video though and are looking forward to more. I'm working really hard to bring more quality content to you. Also there were 2 notable errors: -I swapped the seeding for the 2015 Worlds group. CLG was the #1 NA seed and KOO was the #2 KR seed. -J-Teams loss at the end DID prevent a three-way tiebreaker that would have given them a chance to get out of groups. So that loss did mean a lot and the streak extends from 2014-2019

Wasn't season 2 won by the wild card team that resulted in Taiwan being given a server and becoming one of the "major" regions?
@gbay99
4 жыл бұрын
@@TooTechnicalDev No, South East Asia was given it's own servers back in ~2010 when Riot licensed the game to Garena. Garena created 5 servers that localized the game for each region in SEA. The Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau server (LMS) was competitive enough that they were given a seed directly into the bracket (bypassing groups) at season 2 worlds.

Flash Wolves' legacy is one of the most ridiculous I've seeen. Karsa and Maple consistently proved they were able to match and even outplay top worlds teams for several years, and now at 2020 worlds, the ADC, support and the jungler is attending the event 5 years later on seperate teams from LPL, currently considered the strongest region in the world(teamwise). The only one not there is maple, and steak who became a coach. Karsa could potentially become the goat jungler if TES is able to achieve something with this roster, and both Kramer and SwordArt are looking formidable as they always do. Edit: Forgot to mention NL and MMD, the two ADCs became streamers.

Flash wolves were underrated almost every year, and it still saddens me. Maple was actually one of the best midlaners at the tournament in 2015 and 2016 imho (even though he had some inconsistency). I actually had them over c9 in their group, but they just had so much trouble closing out the games the first day, it cost them dearly. Karsa and swordart were world class as well. The others, I wouldn't agree as strongly, but they had their moments as well.

another awesome video, the level of effort and quality is instantly noticeable. I was thinking about other videos idea that could fit your documentary style videos and i had an interesting idea. A video dedicated to the history of the play-in stage, it's kinda funny how teams (specifically in NA) are saying that being the 3rd place team is secretly a blessing as you get more time to play and "practice" for the group stage so much so that it's become a meme but seeing as how it kinda became a trend with C9 making it all the way to semis from play in while all the other NA teams, notably, TSM who were 1st in NA got another disappointing performance not making it out of groups, is it more of a meme or a reality?
