In this video, I challenged myself to revisit my past wildlife photography setups. From the early days when I didn't even know I was interested in wildlife photography to my current daily driver, I share my experiences, challenges, and the improvements each upgrade brought along the way.
Starting with the Sony a6000 and 55-210mm kit lens, I highlight the strengths and limitations of this beginner setup. Moving on to the Sigma 100-400mm lens, I share how it elevated my photography game. Allowing me to capture sharper details of distant subjects and smaller birds effortlessly.
But the real game-changer came when I paired the Sony a7iv with the 200-600mm lens. With its full-frame sensor, excellent image quality, dynamic range, and superior autofocus, this setup became my favourite. I also share why I chose an authentic Sony over third party options.
