Join Lone Pine’s ‘Wildlife Scientist’ program and explore early level classification using body coverings. 🐦👀🔍
Students will work to identify a variety of external features of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. 🐦🦘🐍🐸 At the end of each lesson, students will meet a Lone Pine animal friend and find out all about how their body covering and other adaptations help them survive.
In this session we explore the special body covering of birds: feathers! Wildlife Scientists in training will be challenged to have a close look at different feathers and see if they can match them up with the correct birds. 🦜🦢🦚
After the matching challenge, meet a feathery friend who has amazing camouflage.
