The old jeeps are so utilitarian they’re great! - My first thought on retrieving submit from the well was those old claws they used to move ice blocks, or logging claw, but how about some construction adhesive on the end of a broomstick? Let it set then yank it out🤔 be good to have extra well water for the apocalypse👍

Your videos are top notch bro! Its the whole package,.. . unbridled enthusiasm for tackling what I know to be difficult vehicle repairs, and very personal and interesting side bars and antics included. They are some of the best parts! I am a fairly handy guy, but I am blown away by the amount of general knowledge, automotive and everything else on display. Learning a ton and desperate to expand my tool kit and spare parts bin! I am a bit late to the game on finding your channel, so am watching all the videos over the last few weeks,... When I saw you dangling in the well on this Jeep video it was the last straw!! Ha! Nuts.....I just subscribed my man, keep it going!!!!!!

Currently working on a '61 CJ-5 I got out of a field (more like off a hillside) in PA that also has the 225 Buick in it. My understanding is the "lope" in the oddfire engines is due to them essentially being Buick V8's with two cylinders chopped off and more-or-less the same distributor. Personally I love the sound. Looking forward to seeing more of this Jeep to compare my progress against.

I am kinda late but to get that stuff out of the well 16:32 is by using one of those retractable hooks that opens up like a Lotus flower, It operates using a Spring so you can also trigger it, Drop it down let it sink, and open the hook, Spini it like spaghetti and pull out.
