Me to, my grandpa bought a 1977 dodge power wagon w200 7-8 years ago for 500$ and drive it home. It had surface rust and a rust hole in the floorboard with 84k miles on it. He changed the fuel tank, carburetor, fuel pump, and it runs AMAZING now. He gave me the truck last year so I brought it to my house sanded it down, and painted it black. It doesnt look like the best paint job, but it's better than it was. And I personally am very happy with the truck.

This is a little trippy to me, I remember very well going to the Chevrolet dealership in 1981 with my parents to buy a new car. I was 11, trucks just like this one lined up on the lot brand new. And now, they are sought after classics and some are derelicts like this one disintegrating in a field. I am old, man.

One thing I've thought of while watching a lot of your videos where the vehicles have something that isn't frozen/seized up or in "better" condition than it should be otherwise, is kids and young teens periodically playing in them trying to crank them over, mashin' brake, gas peddles etc. I spent a lot of my childhood summers staying with my mom on the families old farm property and doing those same things with old forgotten vehicles in the woods with that childhood hope of being able to drive them, being young. Just a nostalgic thought, I know there are innumerable factors but you never know, that could one of them.
