I’ve been following you since before you got married and was working out of your dad’s garage “in town”. Don’t see any reason to jump ship now. Hang in there, take care of the main things, and we will be watching videos at the new and improved Corvette Ben Garage.

Just found your channel. I have my first dream Corvete and my first of 5. A 1972 Millie Miguel Red Coupe. I'm a retired cop. my cop buddies said once thst kid drops you'll never have a Corvette. Daugherty born July 6, First Corvette August 6, our 5th anniversary. 40 years later still have the 72. C4, 2 C5, C6 GS. I sent your share to my guy who just finished the first complete overhaul of all the brakes system and 40 year old u joints on half shafts. Oh steering column rubber was shot. Qefound two cracked exhaust manifold that are cracked. I made a mistake and had them powered coated with engine rebuild in 1998. Brake system last system. Now starting over again as needed. My daughter is getting this vett after I'm dead. My Only grandson wants the coming C8. Thanks for taking the time to share

The above mentioned Corvette except 2012 C6 GS are history. I sold my wife C5 224,000 miles to my mechanic first automatic for his wife. Yes, her milage, we had another we drove together with less milage. That C5 Z51 was also my autocross car. There not been one hose replaced it a 2000, and yes 224,000 miles Great car. My other C5 had 90,000 when we bought the Gran Sport. No garage queen on my house. My 72 150,000.

Ben, yes, this video was better than no video. Much Better. I've missed you and I look forward to what you bring when you can. It's completely understandable why we won't be seeing you for a while. That's a lot of work ahead of you. I'm having the interior of my garage finished off. It's always been just wall studs since the house was built. Everything from my garage is stored in a POD in my driveway, and it's maddening. So I have a good idea of the bother that you're going through. Hang in there. And when you do post again it will be all the better from having missed you during this time.

It's nice to see your getting bigger in a new shop. Quick question in the assembly manual they give a range of torque settings, do you split that value in half or use the upper limit? It's just so vague they give a range of 20 to 30 N.m difference I've been splitting it down the middle. Let me know what your thoughts are on this. Thanks

I have some questions for you regarding a 74 corvette. How rare were the leather, tilt and telescopic with the original engine/trans worth? It has the original paint. This one is a project since I have to get the fuel and rear brake lines plumbed up. Also, I plan on getting the rear and front bumper resprayed. Its white with leather interior presmog year for being in california.

I just recently bought my dream 1977 corvette for a great price. Unfortunately when I drove it it seems to have a differential issues as well as a passenger side wheel bearing issue. I’ve been looking all over the internet to find a replacement but they cost around $1400. Do you know of any rebuilt service or maybe a “junk” yard that would sell me a diff?
