What is he on about 'you don't see Klopp in the stands', 'why is Sir Alex there' ?! Sir Alex is an 82 year old board director and retired greatest manager of all time. The man lives and breathes the club, he can go to whatever games he wants, but clearly does not try and influence anything. Warnock had that spot on, he is well aware of his influence and never speaks out against any current manager nor would he. Sky really do try to bleed out any element of a story, ETH us not sacked, and whether you want that or not it amazes me how much they try to spin and crowbar it into their output .

Fergie got the last bit of juice out of that team for the 2013 win and if we're being completely honest, the likes of Smalling, Jones and Cleverly were never going to be good enough to replace the likes of Ferdinand, Scholes etc. The team needed significant investment. Moyes wanted Fabregas and Bale. He got Fellaini and then in January he got Mata, by which time it was obvious that Moyes wasn't going to last.

"What an expertise here" . Zirkzee never played in the Eredivisie, he played with Bayern Munich, Parma, Anderlecht and Bologna. Also I ve heard Erik Ten Hag say, he did not do the negotiations of the transferfees of players, so he was not involved there. I think signing players from abroad is cheaper than getting seasoned premier league stars from competitors. You will always pay a high price as a premier league club, since they re the richest. I think Ten Hag hopes these technical "foreign" players, where he worked with some of them, will adapt to the intensity of the premier league sooner or later. Also the loss of Varane cant be underestimated, especially playing a high line and put pressure against top teams.
