Hey Bentley! Of all my old two-stroke little engines that stopped running, most needed their tiny fuel hoses replaced (they break down, tear, and suck air) and/or the carbonator fuel pump diaphragm rubber had hardened enough to stop pulling fuel. I'd suggest pulling off all the covers, removing the carbonator, the tiny fuel and return hoses, finding the carb part number, buying an amazon exact replacement for very few dollars, buying a two-stroke kit that has a length of that tiny hose, a tank filter, and a spark plug (that gap should be around .025", not as wide as yours appeared to be). I've not seen the clogged spark arrestors others have mentioned, but that'd be easy to check. There just isn't that much that can go wrong with these engines; if they spin with the feel of some compression, they can be brought back to life. Oh, and remember to switch the kill switch ON!

Check the spark areester screen on the muffler. The unburnt oil can clog it up and build back pressure. I also agree with the person that said adjust the low and high speed screws. Carbs are cheap on Amazon and usually come with new fuel lines, spark plugs and air filter. Keep up the great work.

Nice job Bentley! I did notice when you removed the filter cover and filter that the air filter case was backwards and also check for the intake gasket that’s supposed to be to be between the filter case and carburetor. Those little echos are very sensitive to proper air flow. I would also rebuild the carb due to the amount of time it’s been sitting, those diaphragms get hard and crunchy. This will make for a nice restoration project for you. Also couple other tips about that model is the crank seals like to pop out, and when the ignition coil gets hot it will lose ignition and won’t restart until it cools back off. Keep up the amazing work, you’re doing great!! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A trimmer, blower and a 21" mower is all you need. I've been doing a few yards off and on for years and that's all I've ever used...don't care to pay the ridiculous prices on all the commercial equipment. Plus, a lot of yards you can't fit those big fancy mowers into anyhow as they have no back yard access gates large enough.

Your problem is the diaphragm in the carburettor, if it's been standing 3 years then the diaphragm will have perished and it won't feed fuel correctly. You'll need to take the carb off and find it's make a d model then get a rebuild kit, it's an easy job to do you've just got to keep everything spotless clean as the smallest bit of dirt can cause trouble in a small two stroke.
