The kit didn't have one. That is going to be my next step.

Did the kit you for come with a new key that connects the shaft to the impeller? I noticed it still on the bench when you had the pump back together...

Yes it had a new one. The one you see is the old one that came out. I made sure that was in. Thanks for the comment. I need people like you to keep me straight.

Those "pee" hoses are notorious for spiders and wasps to make nests in them, especially an engine that's been sitting awhile. Try running a wire up there to see if they're blocked.
