Love mine in 270win. The trigger is adjustable fairly simple by removing from the stock. That is one of the main differences between it and it's Browning AB3 sister rifle. They also offer it in a wood stock option, but they can be hard to find. The 'permacoat' is the Achilles, it scratches and actually chips fairly easily.

Winchester brand has 21 XPR models in 350 Legend alone. I can't tell the difference between the finish and conventional matte blue. Winchester says, "The matte blued finish is tough and non-reflective.." Later, in the specs, they call it Perma-Cote.

@@RandyWakeman Yeah it's not like bluing, it's more like an enamel. Mine chipped like paint on your car. I thought be more like cerakote, sadly was not.

That's a shame. I've tested several "Perma-Cote" guns, but none have stayed around long enough to observe finish durability.

Grouping pretty well Randy, I have the Ruger American Ranch and was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy. Inch and half to inch and three quarter groups at 200 meters with Hornady Whitetail 170gr jsp's. Great little hog gun.

Im trying to pick one out to buy. Ive heard horror stories about the savage axis pertaining to the firing pin and bolt. Ive heard of feeding and accuracy issues with the Rugers. Mossberg 50/50 chance you'll get a turd. Seems every one has its issues
