Excellent video. This helped me identify my problem. The plastic roller had pulled out of the metal post for mine. I used the part Dorman 74407 to repair mine. As the metal post was still attached I couldn't just swap it out as I believe it is riveted in and I didn't want to remove the whole window. So as a result I removed the plastic wheel by soaking the 74407 in hot water, then carefully pried off the plastic wheel. I then was able to press the new wheel onto the post in the door using tongue groove pliers. Lubed it up with white lithium grease and reassembled everything. This worked great for me. Hopefully this video and my comment will help someone in the future.

Was the 74407 same length as the stock roller? As in a direct fit? ,the one the guy used in video is actually too long

Hello, did you just replace the plastic circle? On mine, everything appears to me together, but the metal piece came out the hole it connects to. Help🙏

Where do i find the bracket attached to the window? My bracket where the bolt goes through is broke. Do they sell the piece riveted to the bottom of the window?

Does the link for that part you posted work or is it too long to regulate the window correctly?

Did anybody do this repair without having to remove the window regulator? looks like yu can maybe drill out the old one and rivet then slide the old roller down and slide the new one up.. thanks for any replies

@@NigelTheWhiteChicken yeahhh this is bs. I listened to this and bought that part number and that roller is more than a quarter inch too long compared to the stock. Have tried every adjustment to make it work but the long story short is since it's so long your window is going to be angled too far inward when you try to roll it up with the door closed

@Nick A I just think you've got that damn point bro! I have to push my window too at closing. I'll look into it Updated: I grind around 1" depth as based on old and broken window roller. Now it works perfect! Thank you Nick, I owe u a 12pack of beer! Cheers!

What part of that are you grinding, and how much are you grinding? I really need to do this fix soon too.

@@kevinaksantiagojr from the thread edge down closer to the roller, the size should be almost even to the thread diameter to go through the window holder hole then just use a bigger bolt this serves as spacer on the ground area
