To fix the chrome issue Run the following on a terminal chromium-browser --args --disable-gpu-compositing Then go into the browser settings and disable the gpu acceleration. For Firefox, Disable the acceleration in options. You have to directly connect and change. Couldnt find a way to run it via RDP and make the change. Another option with hardware acceleration enabled but then you wont see anything on the directly connected monitor 1. launch terminal 2. type sudo adduser xrdp ssl-cert 3. type sudo nano /etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.conf 4. navigated to the >> Section "Device"

To fix your issue you need to switch from Wayland to X11 by doing sudo raspi-config and then find the relevant menu to do this

I just tried this. It does not resolve the display issue for either browser. I did find something that resolved the issue on reddit. Log in to you RaspPi - and open a terminal window. Issue the following commands in the terminal (replace [USERNAME] with your login name): sudo gpasswd -d [USERNAME] video sudo gpasswd -d [USERNAME] render sudo raspi-config *** the above will open a menu Select the System Options Go down to Boot/Auto Login and select that item Select option B3 Desktop Select OK (use the tab key to move left and right) - NOTE: I did not get the option to do this. It automatically sent me back to the main configuration menu. Select 'FINISH' at the bottom right This will ask to reboot to establish the new settings - tell it Yes

Try to enable x11 instead of wayland. Xrdp might not be compatible with wayland.
