B-52's weren't used in the Korean War! They didn't have B-52 bombers back then! A-26 Invaders is what that used and in Vietnam!

The question is: If they cannot even get such easy things right; how are they to be trusted on matters that are really crucial ?

@@stefanhernold345 Fact check every sentence of the script then. Odds are there was a single mistake, and not intentional. And they are absolutely correct in stating "..it first flew more than 50 years ago...."

@craig4867:A-26 went through a couple designations. The A-26(or B-26 as it was originally called, only designated an A-aircraft because Thailand didn't allow foreign bombers) did not do but a couple dozen bombing missions. They started falling out of the sky in '63 or 64'. They did a refurbishment of 40 (the rest were retired) in late '64 and they were MOSTLY used as photo reconnaissance planes. They A-26 (or B-26) dropped less than 0.0001% of ordinance in the Vietnam war by WEIGHT. Lots of good information and details with evidence of where it came from to verify and weigh it's truthfulness yourself: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_A-26_Invader To say it dropped bombs in Vietnam is TECHNICALLY correct. To say the B-52 dropped bombs in Korea is INCORRECT, but it's maiden flight(s) were DURING the Korean war period. Even though it did drop a few turds in Vietnam (the a/b-26) may be technically correct, but in all practicality almost non-existent. 90% of it's flights were with with a visible spectrum camera and an infrared camera taking pictures and not much else....and even that was few and far. The SR-71 could carry MUCH better equipment (that is STILL classified to this day!) in a much safer operating envelope over Vietnam.

Thanks for being an ally. Unfortunate that we were fighting an ideology against people in their own backyard. We have high tech weapons but when your enemy doesn't you're limited on what you can use. Harpoon anti-ship missiles? No ships in Afghanistan to target. Tanks? No tanks to target and if there were you guys or we took them out from above. Taliban had no air force so our only use of our aircraft was air to ground attacks. I mean when you think about it and see US forces on foot it really just comes down to Taliban with AKMs, PKMs, RPGs, DshKs, etc. Vs Coalition forces with M4s, M249 and 240s, AT-4s, M2 browning .50 cals, and 40mm grenade launchers. Put the Taliban vs any coalition group in a firefight and the Taliban is done 99.9% of the time. Guerilla warfare isn't what the regular US army military does well; that's for our special forces. I laugh when people don't think about all the variables of the Afghan war and simply say " the US lost." With your help we all but crushed the Taliban and made them flee to Pakistan as this video points out. The problem is everyone knew that when we truly left Afghanistan would fall. Hopefully you're doing well and got out of there. If not I hope somehow things get much better. "Normal" Afghans deserve to live in peace and enjoy such a beautiful country. It reminds me of Arizona but our desert looked different with all the saguaro cacti and other native plants to the Sonoran desert. Take care of yourself my friend.

Yea the Russian military is really showing their power in the Ukraine. The Russians were so over rated. Their military is horrible, weak and their soldiers give up as soon as times get tough. They will never be looked at the same again. The Chinese haven’t been in a real war in so many years. They are a military that shows videos of them training hard. That’s all good u til you are in a real combat situation. War teaches you how to develop and better your military from experience. China and Russia are so far behind the U.S military and NATO it’s ridiculous!! They are still teaching out of books from the Korean War. There is no training better then actual combat!

No, the US lost when Kabul fell and the Afghan government fled and collapsed along with the ANA. However Iraq can be called a victory even though some troops are still there. Iraq never fell to an islamic terror group unlike Afghanistan. But then again ISIS was fighting on the flat plains and deserts of Iraq and Syria, and not the hilly and rugged mountains of the Afghan Hindu Kush,
