Thank you so much!!! You are absolutely one of the most outstanding Preachers I have ever heard! So doctrinally sound, but incredibly practical teaching. God has surely gifted you! So glad I found you! And this is a message every Believer needs to hear! We don’t have to live defeated!

Having realised a passion in me to preach Christ and a call of God to teach the gospel I felt distressed by the teaching I had and was receiving. I come from a background where what you are taught from the word is not the raw word but interpretation that the teacher will attribute to revelation by the Spirit of God. I wanted to have a teacher who would teach the literal word of God within the context of its geography and sociology at the time outside of their interpretation and opinions and I found that in Skip. I enjoy all of His teachings. I always come to skip for an overview everytime I'm studying a certain book in the Bible...

I like this guy. That said. I have struggled with sin my whole Christian Life, I have never understood how to " not sin". Or more like " do not let sin reign". What he says here sounds good. But it sounds dangerously close to being legalist. One could easily think it's" by their efforts." Like "we are helping God" ... I'm not here to be critical, I'm here to try and learn how to walk in the spirit. I'm 65 yrs old. Probably don't have many more years to " get this right" . I am so afraid of hearing Jesus say depart from Me, I never knew you. " Please help me understand.

Yeah I had a similar thought while listening to this sermon. I guess the best way to interpret the sermon is that we need to listen to and follow our new master, Jesus, rather than the our slave-driver, Satan. Paul grappled with the competing doctrines of law and grace , and I think a lot of Christians find these doctrines tough to reconcile. The bottom line is that we are saved through grace, not abidance of the law, and that the law shows us the beauty of how God designed us to be before sin messed us up. Just typing off the top of my head...

Best quotes from the sermon: 1. "You can't stop birds flying around your head, but you can stop them from nesting in your hair" 2. "The wages of sin is death; thank God we can quit before payday" 3. The longest journey we can ever make is from our head to our heart"

Most important should have been The will be done not They will be do. Man trying to make a point and being sold out by a $70.00 tablet with poor auto write. It just proves I'm not a smart, a no one. 💡777🎸
