This was our first winter bushcraft overnight experience in heavy snow, and it turned out to be quite an adventure. We set up a cozy tarp shelter, cooked and baked bread by our warm fire, and shared tender moments at night with candles, enjoying a tasty burger with some veggies.
The night got pretty cold as temperatures dropped to -8 degrees Celsius, and a lot of snow came down. Both of us had a comfortable night in our sleeping bags, although Franka felt a bit colder. Nevertheless, we survived. While it didn't go exactly as planned, it was still a great bushcraft experience. The bridge that was supposed to take us over the stream had collapsed during last week's winter storm.
In the end, things turned out better than expected, offering a beautiful view and the soothing sound of the stream. This was our first winter bushcraft overnight experience, but it won't be our last. We hope you enjoy this video. If you want to see more from us, please like and subscribe, and maybe join us weekly by the campfire with a good bear of cup or tea. We love the outdoors and aim to provide you with a relaxing nature experience.
Love,
The Bushcraft Couple,
