Hi Ben. I really enjoy seeing all your fruit trees growing. I’m in the western suburbs of Sydney. Would it be possible to pot up one of those native raspberries that you’re going to pull out and I can swap you something for it? Do you belong to any local garden clubs, permaculture groups etc? Keep on doing your videos. Cheers, Alison. 🪴

@@sydneyfruitgardening Thanks for the detailed info! 🙏Surprised how quickly they grow. My guess was about 5-6 years. Can you please show us your apple collections one day? Over 30 varieties is amazing. I own a tropic sweet, tropical Anna, (Daley’s)Fuji and Pnkabelle (Bunnings) all dwarves in pots and still young. 😊

Peach tree blossom looks lovely! Do you have much problem with peachleaf curl in Australia?
@sydneyfruitgardening

yeah we do, gave it some dormant spray but it's always a battle.

@@sydneyfruitgardening Shame, guess it's all over. Picking off the affected leaves works for me but then my peach is still small...

Yeah it wasn’t too bad last year, dormant sprays worked well. The bigger problem was the twig borer, I think they’re oriental fruit moth as well as fruit fly.

@@sydneyfruitgardening And there was me thinking you must have it easy with the warmer temperatures down there! I'll stop moaning about my little bit of leaf curl!
