[this will be a generalised comment towards some of videos not just this one] Hello, I love your videos. I learned so much from them, and you have very amazing hair. However I advise to watch them and still do your own research for your own hair type which you have to identify first. Because I think not all products who work for her in the video will work for you . For example, coconut oil doesnt do anything for my hair, while for her it does wonders. I used it a few times and my hair felt awful and hay like. I learned that amla oil is much better for me, it made it so soft and shiny. And also, as much as I agree with alot of things she says, silcone products are good to me. I have high porosity hair (and I believe she has low porosity, thats at least how it seems from all things she described, sorry if im wrong) and products that work for her are disaster for me. I tried paraben/silicone free etc products like she talked about and they made my hair worse because no moisture was keeping in, in a way residue that would stay on your hair and seal the cuticle was good to me. Take that away and my cuticles are now always open and after using silicone free shampoo my hair is more weak and dry. I know silicone is cosmetic and just masks your hair, but it works in my case and only certain products, not cheap drugstore ones. Hope it doesnt offend anyone, I wish I could have it as simple as her. In a way Im jelly lol.

Believe it or not, some of the Lush conditioners contain sulphates, which is probably why you didn't like it. I don't have luck with them either. But there are plenty of really good runny conditioners that DO do the job. Lush is just freakish that way...

How are you sleep with your hair? In a bun or ponytail, or just let it be losse? I have long hair and I wash my hair about once a week but at night its just going crazy I am getting a lot of knots and frizz... what should I do? And I heard that dry shampoo is really bad for your hair and your scalp is it true? Love u and you have the most beautiful hair♡
@OrganicallyAnna
6 жыл бұрын
I always sleep with my hair in a braid, and I apply some sort of oil or serum to my ends to keep them hydrated. This way I don't have to brush my hair in the morning and it also gives me some really nice waves. Dry shampoo can definitely be bad for your hair and scalp if you're applying it for more than 2 days a week!

It's been about a year since I cut about 5 inches off my hair to start anew and embark on a hair growth journey. I had planned to trim my hair now a year later, but I have no split ends. Like I'm serious I can't find any split ends. I never ever use heat or chemicals or brush when wet or anything bad. I oil my hair twice a week and spend most of the week with my hair in braids. Should I still trim my hair if it's been a year since I cut it but I don't have any split ends? Or should I wait to see what it's condition is in another 6 months-year?

However I can not find a shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t have silicone, sulfates, parabins and alcohol. The shea moisture mask you posted has alcohol in it. I also live in the states. Any suggestions ? Love you and you’re videos 😘
@OrganicallyAnna

Cetyl alcohol is a type of fatty alcohol that won't dry the hair out. I try to avoid it as well but I think Shea Moisture is a reliable brand and their products are free of other ingredients that I don't use. Calia and The Innate Life both have great, toxin-free shampoo and conditioner and they both ship to the states!

Hi after watching all your videos it gave me inspiration to stop using bunch of chemical products on my hair. So instantly after that I ordered Calia shampoo & conditioner. I washed my hair with those & when it dried out my hair looks so dull & unhealthy. So what do you think? & when I was in shower washing my hair I saw the water is with some type of like dust I believe I am not sure. Will you please help me with this? I really want to use these products because it’s natural. Thanks
@OrganicallyAnna

When you make the switch from regular shampoos and conditioners to sulfate/silicone free ones your hair goes through a detox period. It's normal for your hair to feel gross for a while until it adjusts to the new products. One thing that seemed to help me was doing a hot oil treatment with some coconut oil, and then using the apple cider vinegar rinse when washing it out to really clarify the scalp and hair. After that my hair felt a lot nicer and it took to the products better. If you have dark hair dye in your hair or use a tinted dry shampoo that could be the stuff in the water!
@TheJinidream
6 жыл бұрын
longhairproblemsxo Thanks for the reply. I think you are right it is going to take some wash. Today before I washed my hair I use hot coconut oil in my hair like exactly you told in your video. But I didn’t use the apple cider vinegar. So basically after putting oil & before using a shampoo I have to rinse it with the apple cider vinegar right? I do not have any hair color in my hair since last 4 years so I don’t know what’s that but anyways thanks you so much again for your reply.

I have a question 🙋🏼 Should I have my hair dyed back its natural color (brown) or just let the blonde grow out? Won’t it be more susceptible to breakage if I leave the blonde? 🤔
@cayliefuller7668
5 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem. You can re-dye it if you don't like the ombre look, but the damage is already done from the bleach in the blonde. All you can do now is oil your ends and make sure to use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. Calia brand has a curative shampoo specifically for damaged hair; I use that and the balancing conditioner, because I have super dry hair.
