Out at my mother's place there's a ton of trout and Kokanee but I'd rather eat Kokanee any day. Great tasting fish.

The only place I've ever caught Kokanee was in northern Idaho. I so agree with something you said here. Size limits should be done away with. Regardless of size, if you have a badly hooked fish, keep it.

How do you take care of your Kokanee after catching them? I see you throw them in a cooler. How come you do not bleed them out? What’s the best way to handle them before heading home for the day and why? Thanks for the video and your time.

Hello Cam. Great video! I got into kokanee fishing this summer and I'm hooked. I have a question about your Spin n Glo set up used in this video. What size Spin n Glo are you using and what test leader and length to rig it up? Thanks and keep up your good work.

let me ask, I heard Kokanee once hooked will die if you release them whether deep or not . did I hear about releasing that one 10 Inch Kokanee that was hooked in the eye??? . so can you release them or not with them dying???
@TeamGoneCatchin
5 жыл бұрын
Any kokanee caught on bait is counted against your limit. So every now and then if it's a super small one that isn't hooked fatally, we try to give it a chance to grow but it still counts in case it dies. The one hooked in the eye was kept as it wouldn't be have good odds of survival.
