Thanks for the video. I learned from it. Also, the "mud vein" is the kidney of the fish. I only share this because, while you certainly know it, your viewers may be appropriately sensitive to the anatomy as well. Great stuff. Hope to see more of these helpful videos.

I let my fish live until i leave river. Use a stringer with soft rope so you don't damage gills. Then throw back to wooder. What is the LB on your rod friend?

I've cought some great rainbow trout in my day but none of them put up as much of a fight as those steelhead you were catching what a great video that looked like a great time on the water

bleed the trout in a zip lock,they smell blood of they're dead,something to do with bears and eagles,evolution is awesome

Leave the fish in the river where they belong. You can get a lot better meat from the store.
