Wintercress may be used cooked or raw as a zesty potherb or salad green early in its growth, and later its tender new leaves and seed pods, as well as the abundant flower clusters, add color and savor to soups, stews and stir fries. Toward the end of its growth cycle, you may use the seeds much as any other mustard seeds.
