Thank God I live in Louisiana. Year-round riding, as long as you can handle the Summer heat.

John it is here starting today. I filled up the tank today put some Sta-Bil in the gas tank. I put my trike in my detached garage which is insulated and I cover it up with a heavy duty moving storage cover that is very thick. I have the battery on a tender all winter park my bike on a rug to keep the tires off the concrete. I may take the trike out if it warms up and ride it for a half hour. My bike is on the garage from November until about March, So the points you make are great and what every person who has a bike should do in the winter months. We get temps here in the winter below zero but in my garage it stays above zero might go down to 12 at night. Think covering up the trike with that heavy cover is a plus

Thanks for the info, I don’t know if my partner is ready to keep his Spyder in the garage yet 😂. Also I loved your comedy skit.

No cold weather storage is needed here in Florida! I do miss the cooler rides into the Northern Virginia country side.

John love your video and will miss them for winter , my riker (Yellow) is already Hibernized and will be modified by my mechanic to been a better machine next year. We cannot run the bike since we need to have snow tires starting Dec 01 to Mars 31 so will be watching more Utube riding video , Alain with Hibernized Yellow *Montreal-Canada

Appreciate the info but thankfully we don’t have any issues here in Ocala. Hope the weather there isn’t too bad this winter so you guys can get out often. Looking forward to getting back together in the spring. Can you send me a sample of the perfume?

Another great vid with some good tips. Since this is my first liquid cooled bike ever, I was particularly interested in the coolant part. Good advice for sure! Thanks John. Oh and Miriam...huba huba! 😮

Hi John yes I'm from down under Australia Most of us in Australia don't need to do what you guys in the Northern Hemisphere have to do . But I still find your videos interesting, And educational in the Can am World. I'm currently in a caravan with wife but when I return I have a big trip to go across Australia and back I should be putting it on my channel that will come out just after Christmas. I was thinking of you when I started to plan this trip but anyway keep up the good work, and wife and I enjoy your videos. Cheers Bucky ( Dirty socks ).

Thanks John for another informative video. You would be surprised how many people don’t think of wintering their Spyders before putting them to sleep for the cold season. You are an asset to the Spyder community keep up the good work. 😃 Ryde safe and God Bless Artie & Tracy

The one thing I do before I put one up for storage is run out all the gas and refill with a non ethanol gas . Then put Sta-Bil in the gas. Ethanol absorbs water it's corrosive and hard on rubber parts even though the vehicle is designed to run on it . Especially mowers , string trimmers , etc.

I tried to talk TommyG into letting me ride my Spyder over to the gas station to get my last tank of fuel for the winter...he didn't think it was a good idea, lol

Thanks John! I'm in Texas and we've actually entered our riding season! How long is a long ride when it comes to taking the Spyder out of hibernation, if need be?

I watch the temperature gauge go up to normal operating temperature and then put 20 to 30 minutes on the clock at Highway speeds.
