Perfect record? He killed the Egyptian before the rock episode.. thank you for this sermon 🙏🏾
@MrD5gmoney

Is it ok to answer your question perfect record? Yes, he did killed an Egyptian because when he found out how the Egyptians were treating the slaves, they were butchering them. In Moses stand, he was just defending an Israelites. But, when he found out his hidden heritage, He was changed. According to Ellen G White, he was converted, meaning being baptized. By baptism we confess our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and testify of our death to sin and of our purpose to walk in newness of life. Thus we acknowledge Christ as Lord and Saviour, become His people, and are received as members by His church. Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, and our reception of the Holy Spirit. It is by immersion in water and is contingent on an affirmation of faith in Jesus and evidence of repentance of sin. It follows instruction in the Holy Scriptures and acceptance of their teachings. (Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 2:38; 16:30-33; 22:16; Rom. 6:1-6; Gal. 3:27; Col. 2:12, 13.) In other words, his record is clean except when he struck the rock that represents God and all he had to do was ask and this is how I see it.

@@MrD5gmoney this is such an elaborate and enlightening response. Thank you so much. It is easy to forget at times what true salvation means when we earnestly repent. Our sins are forgiven and there is really no record of them(Rom 8:1- There is now no condemnation). This has ministered to me today. Thank you

@@gracemoraa3451 hello Grace, your exactly right about Moses. I'm not sure how Moses was converted or how the hebrews did it. Baptism didn't happen until with John the baptize and with Jesus. But here's a verse about baptism and being converted. John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Moses died and resurrected, its also an example if we are righteous and we died. When Jesus comes on second coming, He will call upon the righteous that died and resurrect and bring them to Heaven just like Moses.
