So that's how its done! Mystery solved. You make beautiful work with those sweeping heady pendants. By the way, does anyone know why they are called HEADY pendants? They go to your head? 😂 What I admire more than your work, is your patience and care with photo angles and closeups. You are an excellent teacher. The simple task of explaining how you added two more sweeping wire curves to the frame, suddenly made sense to me. The whole pendant construction became crystal clear seeing that one small segment. Thank you, for great tutorials! Very much appreciated. Subscribed.

Thank you. I've been meaning to buy either patreon or off your site for a while, but business hasn't quite set me in that direction yet. Soon. Soon

Thank you so much for these tutorials! I've made my first heady-style pendant according to them and it turned out beautiful!

I bought all the necessary tools and wires that I need for some of your tutorials ❤ I am so excited ❤ Last night I tried to do the wrapped ring with round wire and it was a catastrophe ❤ I guess round wire does not work as well, but I tried, because I was anxious ❤ So I will have to wait for my supplies to come in ♥️ You make everything look so simple ❤ Guess I will just have to keep practicing ♥️

Okay perfect thanks for that i really appreciate it and when you say larger do you mean like larger numbers 20-30 or larger gauge like numbers below 20? Also in the patreon do you do email chats?

How long did you practice before you made it to this level of artistry? What was your practice wire? Where do you find the inspiration for your pieces… that are… in a word: stunning.

I'd like to know where artists like Raftark, Oxana and Kelly Jones learned wire wrapping and weaving.

That's a bit like asking a car driver how long she drove before he could drive well, where did she learn, what motivated her to learn driving, etc. JUST DO IT. THEN DO IT SOME MORE. AND MORE. AND MORE. If you drive everyday, you will learn to drive in a week. All depends on how much you practice. Same with learning how to play drums.

I take it certain styles have become typical enough that you can create them repeatedly? I’m glad to hear you still have the patreon page. Will definitely look into that again. Thanks for the instruction.

Are you using half hard or dead soft wire here? Do you have a preference between the two? Thanks for all the help and sharing your knowledge.

My general rule of thumb is anything larger than 20g I get dead soft. The exceptions for me would be for making rings (in which case I prefer half hard) and 18g half round (which I usually buy both tempers for)

But to answer the question directly, the 14g in this video is dead soft!
