Great video Conor, I bought them water proof plugs in Halfords but can’t get the wires to click into place. Asked a good few lads about them but know one could figure out what the issue is. Is that a standard crimping tool or just special for them? Very tidy work lad keep it up 👍

Thanks for that, the plugs/connectors are known as super seal connectors. The crimper is specifically for the crimps that come with them. They will clamp around the strands, insulation and the yellow seal properly. I only ever had bother with one of them and it was because it was slightly bent. Make sure they slot into the plug/socket correctly. They will only click in one way and should lock in place. The socket should have the male pins and the plug should be the female side. Hope this helps.

To eliminate radio interference you can twist wires together with a drill.

Well Jack. I got them on ebay quite a while ago and the same listing is no longer available. I had one dud I think too that wouldn’t close and it was because the plastic was out of shape from a manufacturers fault. Only advice I can give is read reviews and try ebay and Amazon, don’t buy too expensive ones and don’t buy too crap either! Also make sure the pins are put into the plugs the right way around. Good luck 😉

You will find them on ebay, there term if “ferrite choke“. There are different sizes and kits of multiple different sizes which are handy in case you don’t know the size of your cable.

Hi Paddy. Depending on the jobs I'm doing, I sometimes take it off. No it didn't come with it. I installed it a while back and I have uploaded a video of fitting it too if you have time take a look at it. Thanks for watching and the question.👍

A few different sizes there Nathan, ebay or Amazon will have it. It has a glue inside it unlike normal heat shrink. I used around 4.8mm, 9.5mm and 19.1mm and those sizes are pre heated 👍🏼 thanks for watching
