I visited the Wise Watch boutique in the Iconsiam mall in Thailand. Wise watches are even better up close!

Whenever I get to include my love of watches with travel I'll share the experience with you. I have been interested in the WISE Watch brand for the last couple of years. Everything I had seen or read about them was positive, and seemingly checked all the boxes. They have been producing watches for 15 years now but only really gained a wider interest from the watch community with the release of their HITMAN model a little over 3 years ago. The WISE Hitman model was your typical 200m dive watch with sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel, excellent lume, a ceramic bezel, and an NH35 movement. That watch was very well finished but I already had a Helm Khuraburi with similar specs, 300m of water resistance and ISO certification. So as much as I liked that watch I wasn't interested in buying one.
It was with the release of WISE Watches next series of watches that had 904L steel cases, a Miyota 9 series high beat movement, and some exceptional dials that had me interested in buying a WISE watch. Now I love microbrands but I rarely purchase watches without seeing them first. So when Amy and I decided to take a cruise through Southeast Asia. I made it a priority to see WISE watches up close during our time in Bangkok. If they were as nicely well finished, and strikingly beautiful up close I would buy one. The WISE watches I wanted to see didn't disappoint.
After taking a close look at about 10 different watches I chose the WISE AD791. It has amazing specs, 904L Stainless Steel, Miyota 9019 movement, Exhibition case back, excellent lume, enamel dial, applied indices, 100m of watch resistance, a screw down crown, and it came in a gorgeous box with two straps. Of course great specifications aren't everything. The watch looks absolutely gorgeous up close and on wrist. The colour of the dial is unlike anything else I've seen. Plus the 39mm case size hits a sweet spot for me.
If you love watches like I do be sure to SUBSCRIBE. I have a number of watch reviews coming up, and already have a trip planned to Gothenburg Sweden where I will be visiting another Microbrand Tuseno Watches.
