If there's one thing that can make someone feel utterly alone, it's rejection.
Whether it’s a spouse's insult, a co-worker's gossip, a friend's betrayal, a boss's criticism, or a teenager's sudden distance - rejection hurts. Often, we're so discouraged by rejection that we don’t see God’s better plan unfolding behind the scenes. We interpret rejection as a sign to give up and miss the opportunity to become the leader God has called us to be. But what if the rejection is actually redirection?
Our friend @nonanotnora shared a perspective on rejection that opened our eyes to its BEAUTY and PURPOSE. She helped us see rejection as a GIFT!! #WISS24 was a revelation! Head over to our KZitem channel at Woman Ignite Jamaica to hear what she said on this topic.
Don’t forget to like, follow, share, and subscribe to see more of what we have to offer!
Take comfort in this: Jesus paid the price for all the anguish, pain, and rejection we experience. He faced rejection so we wouldn’t have to carry it for the rest of our lives. Even though we may feel rejected by people, God has accepted us with all our faults, flaws, and mistakes. God accepts us.
Nothing else is more important.
