If someone would have told me this when I started Unity, I would have progressed much faster. Instead of trying to find fancy ways to organise your game's logic, try to focus on using small Monobehaviours as much as you can! Lots of small scripts that are responsible for a little piece of logic in your game.
The main advantages of having many small Monobehaviours are:

▬ Code is easier to maintain and extend!
▬ Code is reusable, across objects and projects!
