Holidays in Switzerland: Isn't that too expensive? With a mobile home, which you can sometimes leave "wild" on the pass roads such as the Flüela Pass, a holiday with the Swiss can become affordable. Tamina Kallert starts in the southeast of Switzerland: in the Engadin, very close to St. Moritz.

Your first stop: a campsite in Morteratsch at 1,860 meters above sea level, with a view of the glacier and lake. She visits the oldest national park in the Alps, meets visitors from all over the world in the "Heididorf" and turns out to be as talented with the crossbow as Wilhelm Tell once was. Swiss stories and traditions are on the program, hiking through the car-free Fex Valley and a walk with yaks near Andermatt. Tamina Kallert is enthusiastic about the spectacular landscape like the "Swiss Grand Canyon".
Rich vacationers used to be carried up to the Rigi mountains in a sedan chair. Tamina Kallert takes the cog railway in Vitznau and has the difference between mountain and alpine cheese explained to him on the Trieb alp at an altitude of 1,450 metres. On the shores of Lake Lucerne, she gets to know the legendary bathing paradises that were already a magnet for tourists 100 years ago.
The highest campsite in Europe that is inhabited all year round is located in Morteratsch in the Upper Engadine. Tamina Kallert parks her mobile home in a spectacular glacier and lake landscape. The next day she climbs the Pers Glacier with a mountain guide, which used to unite with the large Morteratsch Glacier. From the glacier ice to the Hawaii of the Alps: Kitesurfers stand at Lake Silvaplana punctually at lunchtime and wait for the Maloja wind; Tamina Kallert prefers the mirror-flat water in the morning for stand-up paddling.
