This was the first time I heard Josh Ritter. The song was stunning and I'm hooked. Thank you for a beautiful night Josh and the folks of Wits.

Thanks for putting words back in the music. Being 65 I had just about given up on someone willing to say something. Just like when music was real. your ok little guy

I have never seen this man perform in person, but I am hooked now. My writers block has been released, just by seeing that people appreciate poetic music.

Has anyone else noticed the verse Length makes a pyramid ( 1st and 5th verses are short, 2nd and 4th medium length and the 3rd is really long ).

Josh is an amazing songwriter/singer. His songs are captivating. I've been to all his concerts in Toronto and plan to be at the next one. If you've never seen him live then you are missing something special.

The Kent Stage audience of 7/22/12 fell into a hush as Josh and the Royal City Band performed this song. Josh debuted three songs- vibrant, poignant. The sheer joy of the man lights his music, his band, the audience. Lantern indeed.
