The 75th Anniversary Tonner Glinda looks a lot like Bernadette Peters! The Glass Barbie Glinda-musicbox is Lovely! With the Dorothy+Scarecrow/Kiss cookie jar, I think it merely captures that "I think I'll miss you most of all" movie moment that is somewhat short and quick; so yes while it does look more romantic, it's not heavily romanced and is fairly accurate to the film - just looks slightly different because of the medium and material. Always a pleasure watching your videos, whatever the length!

The Wizard of Oz has always been a sort of escapism for me. My family life has always been broken and I have always been looking for my own way over the rainbow. Growing up whenever I was upset I could always turn to The Wizard of Oz for comfort. Also growing up as kind of a weirdo, I rarely ever felt bad about myself for being who I am. Baum created a bunch of unique characters who are unapologetically themselves, and growing up with these kinds of role models really helped me grow into the person I am today, to not only love myself for being who I am, but to love and accept everyone else for their differences.

My favorite Glinda is the Tonner Glinda doll from the 70th Anniversary (I believe). She has the Tyler Wentworth face and not the Billy Burke face sculpt. That gown is massive! For me, The Wizard of Oz was there for me when I was in college and out on my own for the first time. It helped me understand that I can always go home and later on, I learned that home is where your heart is. Today, it still gives me hope that no matter how dark the outside world may be, there is still a rainbow out there somewhere. The Yellow Brick road in my life has lead me down many paths en route to my Emerald City and this new place I call home. But there is still so much more to explore. On a side note, if we did't have The Wizard of Oz, we wouldn't have Wicked The Musical. I have seen it three times and after six years, I am looking forward to seeing it again with someone very special to me and share a part of my life with them.

For me, the wizard of oz changed my world for many reasons. it was a way to bond with family and friends, it was the reason i started writing as a hobby. a hobby which after so many years, i now finally do part-time. Oz offered such inspiration and really captured the emotion of the stories i wanted to write. the color, the world and magic lit up my imagination back then and its never gone away. it's still one of my primary inspirations so i can say without hesitation that it literally changed the course of my life for the better. Oz and writing has gotten me through challenging times and Ill be forever thankful

My favorite Glinda doll is actually the Tonner Blue Skies Glinda! She’s so out there in terms of what we think Glinda “is” especially with her blue hair, but I think it works! Plus it reminds me of the design she had in the Andrew Lloyd Webber Oz musical which I’ve always thought was a stunning design for Glinda as well.

Someone in an Oz community told me that it would've been creepy if there was an an actual Scarecrow X Dorothy in the movie. I think they said something about the age gap. IDK if they were meaning the age gap between Judy Garland and Ray Bolger, or Dorothy and Scarecrow themselves as fictional characters. I do get where they're coming from in both ways. Judy was 16 as they were filming the Scarecrow stuff. Ray was 36 I believe. That's creepy. In the fictional universe itself, Dorothy was 12, Scarecrow was supposed to be just a few days old. Even in the book that'd be weird (even though Dorothy was supposed to be just 8 i think). But IDC, I still hardcore ship them ✊!!!

Hey Tori! I think the Wizard of Oz changed the world by showing that you may travel far across the rainbow, you may stumble across a winding yellow brick road, sometimes you may even find yourself in a dark, haunted forest, but at the end of the day you will always have friends to guide you and will always find your way back home, after all there’s no place like it. :)

The cookie jar is when she kisses his cheek at the end of the film. Not inappropriate at all.
