我喜欢耶稣JP - I mean if you know much about how technology has progressed it kind of has. We know that using the gravity of a binary sub system we can actually slingshot a spacecraft until it is quite fast; and you would use computers to ensure that's done properly. We could never go faster than the speed of light, which means we could never reach the edge of the universe as it's expanding faster than the speed of light; but honestly this isn't too far off the mark if you keep in mind it's a comedy sketch
@JP-rf8rr

@@xPanda25 I understand how you can sling shot objects using gravity. My point was the explanation of using updated computers to slingshot yourself with alpha centaui doesn't explain how you can go faster than light, let alone leave the expanding universe and make a 180.

Yeah...towards the center of it where you get stretched many times your body length and the immense gravity shreds you into atoms. Really YOU wouldn't be going the speed of light, but it may be possible that a part of (what used to be) you could--accelerating as it approaches the singularity. Even so, it would only be possible for a single particle to accelerate to the speed of light because any molecular bonds would be torn long before approaching near enough to the singularity.
