Come to Wisconsin and "rock the rock" on the Rock river. That would rock!

I could just imagine the fuel performance on that thing, just slurpin it back...

I can tell you… Under full throttle, it’s about 2 gallons per minute per engine for an estimated 1,200 Hp per engine. So 120 gallons per hour. 1,200 Hp per engine is what most of these boats are… 👍

That's actually not too terrible for fuel consumption considering the HP output. In competition sled pulling, two gallons may not be enough to feed the engine for the full distance of 300 feet & it does not even take 20 seconds to get there. Some of the vehicle classes are not 1200 horse, but naturally aspirated 700+HP are still very thirsty & it's a lubricant added alcohol race fuel, there's 1500-2500+ HP blown & injected that easily consume five gallons per pass of nitro methane. So these powerboats are actually fairly conservative for fuel consumption in that respect. Thx for the info. Awesome boat BTW! I love em, since watching Miami Vice as a gear head school kid in the mid 80's I've been into these boats. I'm getting closer to owning one & I'll be 50 later this year lol.

Yeah for sure… Alcohol is massive consumption in comparison. Most all of these boat engines are pump gas friendly. Due to needing gas for a long trip, and that poor fuel economy… you’re not going to pull up to a gas dock with VP 114 lol. So pump 93 it is… Which is also part of the Hp limit… A lot of people don’t realize just how robust a boat engine of this boat’s caliber has to be. As they are operating at wot 90% of the time, also they are “propped” to keep the engine right in peak torque. Which is the most stressful part of the engines curve… 👍 @@trentklair9979
